Gazebo? Gazoinksbo! There’s a guest writer on this site! Wife here to deliver a delicious, easy treat.
Easter brings the best kind of candy…namely Cadbury chocolate eggs. These little morsels have a wonderful candy coating and melty chocolate filling. With a rather embarrassing supply on hand, I decided I needed to do something with them, other than throw them straight down my gullet. Enter: Cadbury egg krispie treats.
Unlike the traditional krispie treats, these babies don’t require you to use the stove and melt marshmellows – so no huge clean-up. Instead, sub the marshmallow binding with a combo of peanut butter and melted white chocolate. Throw in the krispies, cadbury eggs, and some mini marshmallows, mush them into a pan – and you’re good to go. I plan on doing some variations of this treat over the summer – especially for our legendary cabin weekends. Throwing in some m&ms and pretzels – yup, that’s my next move.
Anywho, here’s what they look like at the end.
